OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state House Monday passes a resolution creating a panel to study ways to increase participation in the Oklahoma College Savings Plan.
The measure asks the task force to find ways to get more middle-to-low income families involved in the program, and encourage Oklahoma parents to deposit more money into the accounts.
Moore Republican Randy Terrill says the task force also will consider an incentive package with a possible state match for lower income parents to get them to start an account, especially while their child is still young.
