CAP offers a broad range of opportunities for volunteers of all ages – you don’t have to be 18 to get involved – and of all skill levels. Don’t worry about your “qualifications.” What counts most is your interest in helping. And don’t worry that there’s no place for you. We have a great array of interesting, worthwhile jobs that allow for interaction with children, or let you support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps things running smoothly.
Positions include Clerical/Office Assistance Volunteer, Tuesday Tales Volunteer, Early Childhood Program (ECP) Volunteer, Re-Enrollment/Enrollment Process Volunteer, Event Volunteer, and Landscape/Housing Volunteer. We even have Tax Volunteers – who, every spring, assist with CAP’s tax program. (An application process, including background and reference checks, is required for all volunteers,)
As CAP depends on our volunteers who so generously give of their time, we also depend on our donors who so generously provide us with the support we need financially. We are grateful for the trust our donors place in us and our work, and strive to ensure that our programs are as efficient and effective as possible. We accept donations large and small and fully respect the privacy and confidentially of all our contributors.
