Residential and Community Services
CAP's Resident Services and Community Outreach program seeks to strengthen the communities in which our clients live and is focused around three core areas of activity:
- Resident Leadership Program
- Community Supportive Services
- Community Outreach Services
The following services are provided to residents of CAP's rental homes or multi-family properties:
- Assisting in the formation of active, sustainable resident associations
- Training residents in successful leadership and community organizing strategies
- Educational opportunities (i.e. GED, parenting, computer literacy and after school tutoring)
- Monthly resident council meetings
- Periodic youth council meetings
- Case management work as necessary (helping residents negotiate systems of public assistance, aiding in employment readiness, referring residents to other CAP services as needed)
- Orientation seminars upon move-in
- Health fairs, safety and drug awareness education
- Community-building events such as block parties, holiday parties, community picnics
- Referrals to other community service agencies as necessary
Our Community Outreach activities also include general community outreach in support of programs and services offered by CAP.

Affordable Rental Housing
CAP offers a variety of affordable rental housing at select apartment complexes. . We welcome all assistance programs including Section 8, and will work with you to find the best fit for your needs.
