Insure Oklahoma

Insure Oklahoma! is designed to provide health insurance to adults, ages 19 to 64, who do not have health insurance and who work for companies with 99 or fewer employees, are unemployed and eligible for unemployment benefits or working adults with a disability who work for any size employer and have a ticket to work.

If you are a resident of the city of Tulsa, a special initiative, Insure Tulsa!, is available for you. If you sign up for Insure Tulsa! which is available exclusively through Community Action Project, you can receive premium assistance of up to $30 per month.

Who is the Insure Oklahoma Individual Plan available to?

The Insure Oklahoma Individual Plan is available to those persons who meet the definition in one of the following groups:

Group one is defined as: Working adults who are not eligible for an employer-sponsored Qualified Health Plan, and who work for an Oklahoma business with 99 or fewer employees;

Group two is defined as: Temporarily unemployed adults who are eligible to receive unemployment benefits through the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC);

Group three is defined as: Working adults with a disability who work for any size employer and have a ticket to work.

Individual Employee Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in the Insure Oklahoma Individual Plan the individual must:

  • Be in one either group one, group two, or group three;
  • Be an Oklahoma Resident;
  • Be an U.S. Citizen (or qualified alien);
  • Be between the ages of 19 and 64;
  • Not be enrolled in or have an open application for Medicaid or Medicare;
  • Not be eligible for enrollment in the Insure Oklahoma employer sponsored insurance program;
  • Provide their Social Security Number for all household members;
  • Have an annual GROSS household income within the eligibility guidelines (click here for more information.)
