Administration

Maintenance - PROPERTY MAINTENANCE   (APPLY ONLINE NOW)  

Responsible for maintaining agency controlled properties and equipment, duties include: coordinating and completing maintenance project development, interior and exterior buildings, troubleshooting and completing electrical work or recommending action and completing plumbing maintenance and repair. Position Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.; 1-2 years of experience as a carpenter, painter, plumber, or electrician; and current Oklahoma Driver's License in good standing. Certification/Licensure/Journeyman status strongly preferred. Schedule: Monday-Friday/8:00am-5:00pm.

Early Childhood Program

Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher   (APPLY ONLINE NOW)  

Responsible for proper cleaning and sanitation of dishes, equipment, utensils, etc, and keeping food preparation and storage areas clean. Position Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, food handlers permit issued by the Tulsa County Health Department and knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.

Supervises a medium to large number of employees at various sites within a service area. Oversees the work of the collaborative partner employees, and works closely with the management staff of collaborative partners. Responsible for a full day ECP location with ten or more infant/toddler and pre-school classrooms. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or other education or closely related major, Certification to teach PK-3 with Oklahoma State Education Department strongly preferred, experience with young children (preferably 3 and 4 year olds), minimum 3-5 year of supervisory experience.

Nutrition Associate (Bi-Lingual Eng/Spanish)   (APPLY ONLINE NOW)  

Responsible for assisting the Nutrition Coordinator with planning, implementing, and coordinating services within the nutrition services department of the Early Childhood Programs (ECP) in accordance with agency work plans and related federal citations. Position Requirements: High School Diploma/G.E.D., 2-3 years of experience in nutrition, intermediate knowledge of MS Office, valid Oklahoma driver’s license and current auto-liability insurance in employee’s name, food handlers permit or food manager’s certificate and CPR/First Aid certification. Under direct supervision of the Site Director, responsible for providing support to the area supervisor for the day to day operation of the early childhood facility and ensuring compliance with high quality standards of the child development program. Under the direct supervision of the Disabilities Coordinator, conducts parent consultation, reviews records to determine needs of child, accesses services for Early Childhood Program’s families, and participates in planning and implementation of IEP’s.

Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Program Management. Provide disabilities services to the preschool children and families of our Early Childhood Programs (ECP) in accordance with Head Start Federal Performance Standard 1308 and other related federal regulations through management of community partnership agreements with the Local Education Agency’s and Sooner Start contract. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree (Master Degree Preferred) in Special Education with Early Childhood focus or closely related degree with experience in the disabilities content area of a Head Start program. Experience working with children with disabilities required and a thorough understanding of the IFSP and IEP process

Under general supervision of the Associate Director Program Compliance with accountability to the Senior Director Early Childhood Division; provide direct support to each early childhood component area to ensure all Federal Standards of 1304.21, 1306 and other related citations (Education, Literacy and Transition) are met through sub-contractors and direct employees. Responsible for maintaining NAEYC accreditations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field with 3-5 years of classroom experience (prefer infant/toddler) and 3-5 years of experience developing infant/toddler curriculum. Experience must include: working knowledge of West Ed Infant/Toddler programs, Creative Curriculum programs and Child Plus. Required to complete all West Ed Certification papers within one year. Position Preference: Master Degree.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Nutrition, Human Relations or Consumer Education with 3-5 years of experience in community nutrition services. Position Preference: Registered Dietician. 3-5 years of experience administering the Child & Adult Care Food Program.

Assigned to an Early Head Start or Head Start classroom to provide assistance to the Teacher.
Assist in the daily operation of the classroom. Assist with developing weekly lesson plans and individualization. Attend and assist with home visits and parent conferences. Assist with required documentation including but not limited to: Monthly reports, Attendance, InKind, Meal Count, Family Contracts and Accident reports.

Position Requires HS Diploma/GED, and experience working with young children. Site hours and locations vary.
