Welcome to Tulsa Educare!
Tulsa Educare is a state-of-the-art early childhood center that provides
education and care for 200 children (from birth to age 5) and their families with full
day, year round early childhood education, family support services, and ongoing
medical care.
The Educare model was developed by the Chicago-based Ounce of
Prevention Fund, which seeks to intervene in generational poverty and promote best
practices in early childhood education.

Educare's Mission
Tulsa Educare's mission is to help break the cycle of poverty with a flagship
program in very early childhood education and through transfer of best practices to
other Tulsa programs.
Who is eligible to attend?
- Infants, toddlers, and preschool age children from low-income families (in accordance with federal poverty guidelines)
- Children with special needs or learning English as a second language

Tulsa Educare, Inc.
Tulsa Educare, Incorporated (TEI) is a newly incorporated not-for-profit
organization created to provide high-quality early childhood education and care to
low-income families living in Tulsa. TEI was created through a partnership with
Community Action Project of Tulsa County (CAP), Family and Children's Services,
the Tulsa Community Foundation, and Oklahoma University Pediatrics.
