Parents as Teachers

CAP’s Parents as Teachers program is available at NO COST to income-qualified families in the Tulsa and Union Public Schools district who are expecting a child or a have a child ages birth to 36 months.

With Parents as Teachers, CAP’s high-quality early childhood education services are provided within the family home.

Families meet twice a month for one hour with a certified Parent Educator, and participate in group socialization experiences once a month (families who are expecting will meet once a trimester). Meetings and activities focus on child development and learning, parenting skills, and strengthening the parent-child relationship, all while providing networking opportunities for parents.

    child’s progress

    including nutrition, medical, and health screenings
