How to Register Your Child

Is your child eager to learn? Families who qualify based on income can enroll their children age birth – 5 years in our early childhood education programs at little or no cost to the family.

Our programs provide:

  • Hours Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with extended care available at select centers
  • A bright, safe, nurturing environment
  • Breakfast, lunch and snack daily
  • Home-based education programs available (with Union Public Schools)
  • A proven curriculum that emphasizes essential areas of early learning including:
    • School readiness skills, such as reading and writing
    • Following routines
    • Logic and reasoning skills
    • Creative thinking
    • Listening and speaking skills
    • Cooperation and appropriate social behavior
    • Responsibility for self and others
    • Learning about themselves and their world through play

CAP's enrollment office is located on the first floor of the Exchange Center East Building at 4606 S. Garnett Rd. Office hours for the Enrollment Office are 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday.

Bring a copy of each of the following documents to turn in with your child's application. Only applications with all required documentation will be accepted.

  • Proof of your current address

  • Your most tax return, if applicable (a tax return is required if you had earned income; however, if your tax return does not reflect your current income situation, also bring proof of current income or unemployment

  • All application must have a formal documentation of birth. If your child will be four years old by September 1, 2010, we will be able to accept only a state-issued birth certificate as documentation of birth.  If your child is younger than four, we can accept a hospital certificate as well.

  • Your child's most recent well-child checkup

  • Proof of Public Assistance, if applicable
  • Your child's current immunization records

  • Documentation of your child's health insurance. If your child doesn't have any, we can help you apply for SoonerCare.
